Service really good. We sat out on the deck, which had a lovely view. The first time my friend took me here I thought it was a bit odd to go to a restaurant on a caravan site. I was judgemental. It's really nice and food good. Not a cheap place but the food is appropriately priced for what it is

We travelled down from Suffolk for the day to pick up a piece of equipment, we were looking for a place for lunch and what a find. The parking was very easy even with a trailer, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was very very fresh and tasty. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I recently attended a wine and cheese night with three friends at the bucket and spade and was blown away by the value for money. We tried 6 wines and had unlimited access to an extremely generous cheese buffet. The even was managed so that people could mingle but was comfortable and not over sold. The staff were really helpful and accommodating too. Ensure the night was not rushed and very relaxing. A great choice in wines are sold here and so even if for a glass. I encourage anyone to go for a glass of wine with a view!

Just been here with our sewing group (12 of us) for Xmas menu. It was excellent. Very comfortable, good service and everyone thought their food was very good. I went for the steak and stilton pie which was so tasty. Others chose turkey, beef, sea bass and everyone was extremely satisfied with their meal. I would definitely recommend having your celebration meal here. Thanks to all the staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime visit. It was a beautiful day so we chose to eat outside on the rooftop terrace. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the meals are very reasonably priced. It was our first visit, but we will definitely visit again soon.

We booked a table for the five of us and sat outside, taking in the fantastic views as it was lovely and sunny.Two of us are gluten intolerant the others not happy to add that we all were catered for we had a gorgeous meal and dessert will definitely be going back again.

A little gem hidden away. They have a good selection of food for a coeliac. There is a nice view of the sea in the distance and on a glorious day there is outside seating. When we went it was busy and we did have to wait a while. That is a 1st for us as we have been on numerous occasions and not had to wait. The food and service was great as always

Our first time visiting here today & we were thrilled with the whole experience. Being a Coeliac,I was overjoyed to come to a place where the majority or food was GLUTEN FREE! This is VERY hard to find,an eaterie that cares about Coeliacs or Gluten Intolerant customers enough to realise that our palette requires delicious food...just like everyone else. Ide like to put the myth to bed...GLUTEN FREE food IS delicious,you will not find better then here!! From the pleasant welcome when we arrived,to the service,the delicious food,the stunning views from the sun deck... The Bucket & Spade will be a firm favourite from now on,if it ain't broke,don't fix it! Looking forward to our next visit,one of many more.
